My name is Briony Pearce. As a Child and Family Health Nurse and Registered Nurse, I have been privileged to work alongside families in the community since 2011. With 17 years of clinical experience, in both the public and private sector, I have been able to meet and help many individuals, collaborating with patients, doctors and other allied health care professionals.
As a health provider, I consider parents as individuals and their family as unique. And so professional information and advice can only be of value if it is tailored to the needs of the family concerned. As a mother of two daughters, I know being a parent is not easy. I can be honest in saying there are times when it becomes more challenging. My girls keep me on my toes! As parents, we know our situation better than anyone else. I understand the importance of the parents’ role and see it as an integral part of the helping process. Working together, we can discuss and examine issues to develop a clear understanding of how to manage these concerns more effectively.
Assured Parenting was simply created as a support service that facilitates the well-being of children, their families and therefore the community. Encouraging parents to be the best they can be.
